Requirements for AmaPanyaza Crime Wardens 2026/2027
*For Crime Prevention Warden – NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED – But must be disciplined:*
– *Education:* Grade 10, 11, 12 accepted – Matric advantage but NOT compulsory – *Grade 10 OK – AmaPanyaza accepted Grade 10 in first intake!* Many wardens had Grade 10/11. ABET Level 4 also accepted. You must be able to read and write English.
– *Age:* 18 – 35 years old – Youth ONLY – AmaPanyaza is YOUTH programme – 18-35 strict – must be Gauteng youth.
– *Citizenship:* South African citizen with valid SA ID – Must live in Gauteng – Gauteng youth ONLY – Proof of residence in Gauteng required – Soweto, Tembisa, Alexandra, Mamelodi, Soshanguve, etc.
– *Criminal Record:* NO criminal record – Must pass criminal check – SAPS fingerprint check – if you have criminal record – disqualified – because you fight crime.
– *Physical Fitness:* Must be physically fit – able to run, do push-ups, sit-ups – you will do 3 months military-style training – not for lazy people – training is hard – like soldiers! Must pass fitness test – running, etc. Must be healthy – medical test.
