The City of Cape Town Fire & Rescue Service is seeking brave, dedicated individuals to join its 2025 Fire Fighter Learnership. This intensive training programme combines theoretical knowledge, physical conditioning, and hands-on firefighting experience to prepare you for a heroic career in emergency services.

📍 Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
📅 Contract Duration: 1 Year (Non-permanent, with potential for permanent placement)
💰 Stipend: R199,340 per annum (Basic salary during training)

✅ Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet these criteria:

✔ Age: 18 years or older
✔ Education: Grade 12 (Matric) – Mathematics & Physical Science preferred
✔ Physical Fitness:

• No fear of heights or confined spaces

• Medically & physically fit (will undergo assessments)
  ✔ Personal Attributes:

• Team player

• High stress tolerance

• Discipline & commitment
  ✔ Background Check: Clean criminal record
