Business to IT Alignment

  • Assist EBS to deliver solutions that meet customer needs through understanding of customer’s business and needs through relationship management
  • Demonstrate an understanding of risk parameters by managing customer relationships
    Understand customer’s business and needs through proactive customer relationship management according to portfolio mandate
  • Complete tasks through planning and reviewing against set targets
  • Research and analyse information by using problem solving techniques to propose solutions for work challenges
    Support the achievement of thebusiness strategy, objectives and values by reviewing the business and other supporting unit to ensure delivered systems, process, services and solutions are aligned
    Share knowledge and trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction
    Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes (e.g. operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders’ businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations
  • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys, etc.)Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and enhance relationships with department heads, in assigned business area, actively manage their expectations and act as an escalation point for their technology service portfolio
    Manage EBS IT-business relationships
  • Represent EBS in Business discussions and ensure necessary technology capabilities needed by business are scoped and developed
  • Ensure constant communication and manage day to day issues to completion
  • Ensure constant reporting for impact analysis for business and improve by 50% in proactively quantify the potential or real time interruptions or initiatives

Reporting as part of Communication

  • Develop and maintain Real-time business operational reporting, architectural contribution and impact analysis
  • Ensure set up and maintenance of Omnia monitoring and escalation system for internal customer
  • Collate and prepare dashboard reports and provide constant feedback to business on regional Business Desk activity

Experience

  • 5-8 years’ experience in SQL scripting
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing relationships with internal business customers
  • 6+ years of experience in Service Development or Operations
  • Experience in a related business function close to customer facing with direct responsibility to business results
  • Experience in business value targeting and mapping
  • Expertise in customer and senior stakeholder management across the lifecycle and environment driving successful organizational outcomes
  • Strong Business and Process knowledge from working in stakeholder field
    Strong knowledge of core IT (Infrastructure, Applications), business processes and technology supplier community
  • Advance experience in analysing of Insurance related products
    Strong business and product offering knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Multichoice
  • Billing platform and billing process
  • Strong operational understanding of the business being managed
  • Ability to translate business vision into IT vision, objectives and programs
  • Strong leadership capabilities or potential in a team environment or within a matrix management structure
  • Experience in articulating and setting strategy
